Every once in a while, these posts just write themselves…

From redbankgreen‘s email in-basket this week:

Hello! Last weekend, my friend posted her garage sale on your website and she said she had an awesome response because of it! I’m having one this weekend, and she told me that I absolutely had to contact you guys!

So here are the details:

Saturday, August 2nd 9am-3pm

7 Center Street, Rumson, NJ

Not your grandma’s garage sale!

Three college grads are selling books and a desk (who needs either of those anymore?!), a Yamaha keyboard, lots of clothes and shoes, movies, artwork, and other really great stuff you won’t want to pass up!

There you have it, folks. Who’s next?

If you live in the redbankgreen coverage area — Lincroft to Sea Bright, between or near the Navesink and Shrewsbury rivers — and are planning a yard sale, feel free send us an email with the following information:

• The words ‘Yard Sale’ in the subject line

• Full address

• Date and hours of sale and rain date, if any

• Any special items you’d like to mention

• Your name and phone number (neither of these will be published; we need them to verify submissions).
