Robert Bruce, Geoff Nicholas, Ken Kalada and Fred Blumberg all knew the location of last week‘s “Bubba St” sign: the river end of Church Street in Sea Bright, at an alley that connects to South Street, on the side of the Shore Cab building.
Ken, whose father had a pharmacy on Ocean Avenue for 25 years before selling out to CVS in 2004, says the sign went up around 1999 or 2000 at the site of Didi’s Automotive.
“I canÂ’t tell you how many times I walked around back there waiting for either my car, my parentsÂ’ car, or the delivery car to be finished,” he writes.
According to Geoff, “Bubba owns Industrial Marine Fabricators.”
