The Red Bank Police Department issued the following notice at noon Friday:
The Red Bank Police Department is investigating three burglaries to residences over the last ten days.
These burglaries have occurred on Hudson Ave, Harrison Ave and Mechanic Street all with similar characteristics. These incidents appear to have occurred in the afternoon to early evening hours all while the homes were unoccupied. Entry was gained through first floor windows in all three instances. Cash, jewelry and personal electronic items were stolen.

We remind everyone to please remember to lock all doors and windows when leaving homes unoccupied, as well as a light on inside the residence.. We would ask that all residents be vigilant and report any suspicious activity, persons, or vehicles to the police immediately, gathering as much information for the dispatcher as possible. However, please do not confront these persons; leave that to responding officers.
