Answer to last week’s Where: those decorative panels showing arrow-dodging zebras are in the the front window of Silberstein Interior Designs on Broad Street (Route 35) in Shrewsbury.
Reader Susan McLaughlin shared some fun facts about the design:
The pattern was designed as wallpaper in the 1940s for Gino’s Restaurant in NYC. Iconic favorite for the stylish bathroom, which seems odd. Enjoyed such a resurgence when seen as Gwyneth Paltrow’s bathroom paper in The Royal Tenenbaums that Scalamandre couldn’t keep it in stock.
