call-in-the-authoritiesJuly 3- Robert Meyer, 26, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for a Contempt of Court warrant out of the Tinton Falls Municipal Court. P.O. Andrew Smith made the arrest.

July 4– Meryll Newman, 19, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested following a suspicious vehicle complaint on Lippincott Rd. for Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. P.O. Robert Chenoweth made the arrest.

July 5– Jenna Pomphrey, 27, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for a Contempt of Court warrant out of the Eatontown Municipal Court. P.O. Robert Chenoweth made the arrest.

July 5– A business owner from White Rd. reported a Burglary/Theft after an unknown actor entered the business and removed an undisclosed amount of cash. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

July 8– A business owner from Birch Ave. reported Harassment after he received threatening text messages about causing physical damage to his property by an individual known to the owner. P.O. Amanda Arnold investigated.

July 9– Miguel Ortiz, 35, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for a Contempt of Court warrant out of the Lakewood Municipal Court. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

July 11– A resident on Little Silver Point Rd. reported a Burglary/Theft to their residence after returning from being away. The actor entered the residence and removed electronics and jewelry. P.O. Amanda Arnold and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

July 11– A resident on Willow Dr. reported a Theft after two bicycles were stolen from their property during the evening hours. P.O. Amanda Arnold investigated.

July 11– A resident on Pinckney Rd. reported Credit Card Fraud after an unknown person made fraudulent purchases online using the victimÂ’s credit card information. P.O. Andrew Smith and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

July 14– Jonathan Merklinger, 28, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for a Contempt of Court warrant out of the Freehold Borough Municipal Court. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

July 14– A restaurant owner on Prospect Ave. reported Harassment after receiving several phone calls for deliveries to bogus addresses. P.O. Eric Van Schaack investigated.

July 15– A resident on Little Silver Point Rd. reported a Burglary/Theft to their vehicle after an unknown subject broke the window to the vehicle and removed cash from it. The homeowner chased after the subject but was unsuccessful in locating him. P.O. Eric Van Schaack, P.O. Paul Halpin and Det. Greg Oliva investigated. Fair Haven P.D., Oceanport P.D., Shrewsbury P.D., and a Monmouth County SheriffÂ’s Office K-9 unit also assisted.

July 18– A resident from Brookside Ln. reported a Fraud after he received fraudulent money orders when using Craigslist. P.O. Peter Gibson investigated.

July 20– Matthew Sork, 18, of Little Silver, NJ, was arrested following a suspicious person complaint on Branch Ave. for Possession of Alcohol Underage. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. made the arrest.

July 21– Timothy Geltzeiler, 21, of Fair Haven, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for a Contempt of Court warrant out of the Red Bank Municipal Court. P.O. Amanda Arnold made the arrest.

July 22- A resident on Silverside Ave. reported a Burglary/Theft after noticing that an unknown subject forced entry into the residence and removed electronics. This incident occurred during the daytime hours. P.O. Andrew Smith and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

July 23- Edward Maguire, 32, of Monmouth Beach, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for a Contempt of Court warrant out of the Little Silver Municipal Court. P.O. Robert Chenoweth made the arrest.

July 24– A male juvenile, 16, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested for Theft after stealing a bicycle from the Red Bank Regional High School. P.O. Robert Chenoweth made the arrest.

July 24– Jeffrey Hayet, 21, of Oceanport, NJ, was arrested following a suspicious vehicle complaint on Prospect Ave. for Providing Alcohol To Underage Persons. Christopher Manzi, 19, of Oceanport, NJ, and Regina Souviney, 19, of Long Branch, NJ, were also arrested for Possession of Alcohol Underage. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. made the arrest.

July 25– Foster Tallman, Jr., 54, of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for a Contempt of Court warrant out of the Sayerville Municipal Court. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

July 25– Bryan Pivnick, 23, of Freehold, NJ, was arrested for a Contempt of Court warrant out of the Interlaken Borough Municipal Court. Sgt. Kevin Halpin made the arrest.

July 26– Joel Cohen, 67, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for Obstruction and Possession of Prescription Drugs Not in its Original Container. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

July 26– A business owner from Ayers Ln. reported a Fraud after a former employee opened up fraudulent credit card accounts using clientÂ’s information. Lt. Robert Frank investigated.

July 29– Ana Castro, 39, of Newark, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for a Contempt of Court warrant out of the Highlands Municipal Court. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. made the arrest.

July 30– Christopher Jones, 23, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for a Contempt of Court warrants out of the Red Bank and Oceanport Municipal Courts. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest.

July 31– A business owner on Prospect Ave. reported an Attempted Burglary after discovering that an unknown subject attempted to force entry to the front door. Entry was never made to the business. P.O. Peter Giblin and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.
