06/02/13 Ptl. Hostrup took a theft report for a BMW hood ornament from a Woodland Dr resident.
6/9/13 S.O. Murray took a fraud report from a Heights Terrace resident. This involved a check scheme where the victim was defrauded of $2,400. Det. Schneider investigating.
06/11/13 Ptl. Reevey took a report for harassing text messages from a Second Street resident.
06/15/13 Ptl. Reevey placed a Third Street resident under arrest for endangering the welfare of a child.
06/15/13 Ptl. Hostrup and Ptl. Patton located a missing person out of Howell subsequent to a motor vehicle stop.
06/17/13Ptl. Lagrotteria took a fraud report from a Chestnut Street resident after an unknown actor(s) filed a tax return in the victims name.
06/21/13 Det. Schneider investigated and issued an arrest warrant for Michael Harrold, Age 45 out of Howell for Fraud and Theft by Deception. Mr. Harrold purchased a ring worth approximately $18,000.00 from a River Road business with a bad check. The ring was recovered by Det. Schneider at a pawn shop in Shrewsbury. With the assistance of Howell Police Department the defendant was placed under arrest and lodged at the Monmouth County Jail with $25,000.00 cash bail no 10%.
06/22/13 Ptl. Lagrotteria arrested Frank Gabriel, age 19 of Monmouth Beach, with Driving under the influence. Subject was charged and later released pending a July court appearance.
06/22/13 Ptl. Hostrup took a report from a Lewis Lane resident who was bitten by a dog outside a River Road business. Injuries were minor, victim refused medical treatment. Animal Control Officer Perez was contacted and investigated.
06/22/13 Sgt. Dykstra and Ptl. Lagrotteria arrested Jarrett Glover, age 29 of Red Bank, for unlawful possession of a weapon following a traffic stop. Subject was charged and released pending a July court appearance.
06/24/13 Ptl. Hostrup took a fraud report from a Spruce Drive resident after the victims credit card number was used to make approximately $3,000.00 worth of fraudulent purchases online.
06/25/13 Ptl. Reevey took a vandalism report from a Park Lane resident after the owner found his back door pushed open. No items were reported taken from the residence.
06/25/13 Ptl. Patton responded to a Poplar Ave residence after it was reported that two juveniles had trespassed on the property.The juveniles were returned to the custody of their parents.
06/27/13 Ptl. Lagrotteria and S/O Murray arrested Julia Mannion, age 19 and Keeley Ffrench, age 19, both of Fair Haven, with possession of less than 50 grams of Marijuana. Ms. Mannion received a separate charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Subjects were released pending a July court appearance.
