Crime and arrest reports, unedited, as provided by the Fair Haven Police Department for the period of October, 2014.
10/04- A River Road business owner reported an attempted break-in at his location. Sgt. Dyksta and Ptl. Koetzner responded and observed what appeared to be pry marks on an outside door. Investigation was forwarded to Det. Stephen Schneider, no losses were reported.
10/06- Douglas Denoia, 25, Ocean, was charged with Possession of Radio Capable of Receiving Police, Fire or Emergency Medical Communications While in the Commission of a Crime. Sgt. Dykstra signed the complaint.
10/09- A Princeton Road resident reported that an unknown actor(s) had stolen a dry cleaner bag containing clothing from their front porch.
10/13- Jeffrey Kowal Jr., 18, Red Bank, was placed under arrest subsequent to a motor vehicle stop. During the course of motor vehicle stop the driver, Mr. Kowal was found to have Marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his possession. An active contempt warrant out of Middletown in the amount of $1000.00 dollars was also located for the subject. Mr. Kowal was released after posting full cash bail. Mr. Kowal is due in court next month. Ptl. Eric Patton was the arresting Officer.
10/15- Sergio Varela-Limon, 25, Highlands, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop. Ptl. William Lagrotteria was the arresting Officer.
10/15- A Harrision Ave resident reported a girls bicycle stolen from their property during the previous evening. S/O Robert Henne took the report.
10/29- Jeanne Manigrasso, 44, Eatontown, was arrested during a traffic stop following the discovery of an active traffic warrant out of Tinton Falls in the amount of $1000.00. Subject was processed and released after posting full cash bail. S/O Brooks Robinson was the arresting Officer.
10/29- Levi Soza, 24, Highlands, was charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass and violation of a restraining order stemming from an early morning incident that started in Highlands and ended in Fair Haven. Highlands Police made the arrest; subject is currently housed at the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $28,500 bail on Fair Haven charges.
10/30- A Third Street resident reported that a savings account was opened in her name by an unknown subject(s) fraudulently. Incident is being investigated by Cpl. John Waltz, no losses are reported at this time.
